TROND 2-in-1 Bluetooth V4.1 Transmitter Receiver/Wireless 3.5mm Audio Adapter

(AptX Low Latency for Both TX & RX, 2 Devices Simultaneously, For TV, Home Stereo or MP3 Player)

Transmit mode - this is a great little device for taking anything that has a 3.5mm audio output jack and transmitting the audio to a Bluetooth receiver, like a mixer, Bluetooth speakers or Bluetooth soundbar. I use it for listening to my 20+ year old scanner through a Bluetooth lightbulb in my office. I typically may be listening to iTunes, streaming through my computer, but I do want to hear want is happening locally in the world around me.

This is perhaps the easiest to connect between any device and an Alexa/Echo smart speaker. I use it to connect my work computer to my Echo Dot when I have any webinars to watch, which do not require me to talk to. My work computer does not have any built-in speakers and the headphone jack resides right on the front of the tower, in easy reach.

Pyle PMX7BU Bluetooth 3-Channel DJ MP3 Mixer

Mic-Talkover, USB Flash Reader, Dual RCA & Microphone Inputs, Headphone Jack. This unit's Bluetooth functionality is receiver-only

    Pro's
  • Does NOT create lots of heat while in use
  • LED VU meters are very helpful
    Con's
  • It is easy to interfere with the Bluetooth connection simply by passing between the transmitting device and this unit.
  • While using a Bluetooth input, you cannot mix with a USB input device
  • Does not include SPDIF output as an option

This device gets used daily. I have my turntable connected to the RCA input jacks and the output connected to my Harmon-Kardon Soundsticks. I do not have the wireless version of the Soundsticks, as I have heard too many complaints that they accept Bluetooth input from random devices.
