Photographs from Our Excursion on Saturday, 22 February 2025.

This was the second to last day for the Conway Scenic Railroad Snow Train for this winter season. We boarded the 1950's Budd vista dome car, CSRX 1329, Dorothea Mae at 3:15, at North Conway Station. About 15 minutes later, we headed south on the Conway Branch towards the Conway Station. The trip south took about 25 minutes and included a view of the snow-covered Mount Washington. At Conway, the diesel locomotive switched to the northern end of the string of passenger cars. The locomotive for the passenger consist that we rode was the CSRX #573, a GP7 (serial #12369). This locomotive was the ex-Springfield Terminal #27 and was formerly the Maine Central #573. The passengers switched sides of the cars, so everyone could view both sides of the right-of-way and we then headed back north to North Conway station.

I will be adding more photographs that I shot on Saturday, as time permits.

Enjoy and stop by again to view the other 100 or so photos of the architectural station and rolling stock and locomotives.
